Pledged to Donate Palantir Money to Immigrant Legal Defense
Ryan announced he would donate all prior Palantir-linked campaign contributions to Hudson Valley nonprofits supporting immigrants' legal defense, and refuse all future contributions from executives at companies contracting with ICE.
The pledge followed public pressure from For the Many, a Kingston-based progressive nonprofit, after purgepalantir.com identified Ryan as the top Democratic recipient of Palantir money. Ryan rejected calls to abolish ICE entirely.
