We do not sell or rent personal information. The site has no advertising and no ad trackers.
Information you give us
When you use the contact form, we receive your email address, your message, and anything else you enter. We keep messages as long as we need them to reply to you and to keep our records. Ask us and we will delete yours.
Email updates are managed by Action Network, which handles what you enter under its own privacy policy and shares it with us so we can send you updates.
Analytics
We use cookie-free analytics that we run ourselves. It records the pages you view, the site that sent you here, your browser and device type, and your approximate location. It does not store IP addresses. Visits from browsers with Do Not Track turned on are not recorded.
Cookies and browser storage
The site sets one cookie, which protects the contact form and is deleted when you close your browser. You can clear it at any time in your browser settings.
Outside services
The site loads fonts from Google Fonts and photos of members of Congress from Congress.gov. Our web host and content delivery network deliver every page. These services receive standard technical information, such as your IP address, when a page loads.
Some articles include posts from X, which load content from X under its own privacy policy.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you think a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
Your choices
You can email us to ask what personal information we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted.

When we change this policy, we will update this page and the effective date at the top.
